Dr. Patrícia Dionísio, a dedicated Pulmonology Consultant, brings over a decade of specialized experience to the forefront of respiratory medicine. Her journey in medicine began at a renowned Portuguese university, laying a solid foundation for her career. This was further enriched by specialized pulmonology training at Portugal’s leading university hospital center, positioning her at the cutting edge of respiratory care. A pivotal moment in her career came with an internship at the Sleep Disorders Centre at Guy´s and St Thomas´ NHS Foundation Trust in London, sparking a profound interest in Sleep Medicine. This passion led her to become a certified Somnologist/Expert in Sleep Medicine by 2023, showcasing her dedication to this subspecialty.
Currently, Dr. Dionísio serves as a consultant pulmonologist at Cascais Hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, where she oversees the pulmonology ward and acts as the deputy coordinator of the sleep lab. Her extensive experience in handling a wide array of respiratory diseases, both in inpatient and outpatient settings, underscores her invaluable role in providing top-tier care. Through her work, Dr. Dionísio not only enhances the lives of her patients but also contributes significantly to the field of pulmonology and sleep medicine.
