Customer Care Representatives

Customer Care Department is here to assist you with any questions, concerns, or needs that you may have during your stay in the hospital. Patient Care Representatives can:

  • Ensure that you have a comfortable and seamless patient experience with us.
  • Support you and your family to resolve any concerns your may have during your stay.
  • Serve as liaisons between your family and the healthcare staff in the operating room and intensive care waiting rooms.

Whether you are a patient, relative or a visitor to our hospital, we want to ensure that your experience is a positive one.

We value all feedback following your visit to our hospital. We ask that if you do encounter any problems, however small, you let us know. We are continually striving to improve our service and care, and your comments and feedback are invaluable in helping us to do this

Patient Rights and Responsibilities

As a patient, you and your family have the right to:

Get fair medical care regardless of race, gender, religion, and disability at all times and under all conditions.

Know the name of your treating physician and of those who are taking care of you.

Have an atmosphere that respects your personal privacy where you can discuss openly and in full confidentiality everything about your illness.

Know all the benefits/risks related to your medical procedures and sign an informed consent related to your medical care.

Accept or refuse medical care/ treatment and to be told of the medical outcomes of refusal and to sign the consent for that purpose.

Be involved in the decision-making of your care plan.

Expect prompt and effective assessment and treatment of pain.

Have access to a patient advocacy representative or hospital administrator upon request or complaint at any time.

Have a second opinion following the KCHJ administrative and financial rules and regulations.

As a patient, you have the responsibility to:

Know and follow Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and KCHJ rules and regulations.

Maintain the KCHJ NON-SMOKING policy.

Be considerate of the rights of other patients and hospital personnel.

Follow the treatment plan recommended by your doctor, including following the instructions of your nurses and other health care providers.

Help maintain hospital properties from destruction.

Pay all your financial obligations associated with your care, admission, or any other services.

Complete all forms requested by the hospital when having an operation, or procedure.

Signing the leaving “Against Medical Advice” form if you insist on leaving against medical advice.

Make all necessary precautions not to infect others in case you were told that you have a contagious disease, and you should inform your spouse/immediate family about the disease.

Provide accurate and complete information concerning your present complaints, past illnesses, hospitalizations, medications, and other matters relating to your health.

Report any perceived risks in your care and unexpected changes in your condition to the responsible practitioner.
