Dr. Maryem Anwar is a UK-trained, dedicated family medicine consultant. She has 15 years of experience of working in the UK with a diverse population. She has vast experience in providing comprehensive primary healthcare to patients of all ages. She has a strong interest in disease prevention and believes in transforming healthcare through lifestyle medicine. She has a patient-centered management approach while considering their psychological as well as physical needs. She is committed to promoting overall patient’s wellness and improving the quality of life of patients of all ages. She believes in building strong patient relationships and tailoring treatment plans to individual needs.

She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, London and completed postgraduate diploma in dermatology from Queen Mary University, London with distinction. Prior to joining King’s College, she was a practicing General Physician in NHS England and also a health screening doctor for Nuffield Health UK. During her training she worked in several large hospitals across the UK in multiple specialties.
Outside of medicine, she has a passion for health and fitness. She enjoys exploring the great outdoors, hiking and long walks in nature. She is passionate about empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being.
