Dr. Sean Chadwick’s remarkable journey in medicine has taken him across four continents, culminating in over 25 years of rich experience in anesthesiology and critical care. Today, he’s a valued member of the team at King’s College Hospital London in Jeddah, where his global experience enhances patient care.

Starting at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, Dr. Chadwick laid his medical foundations, embracing challenges in remote areas. His pursuit of excellence led him to the University of Birmingham in England for specialist training, earning him dual credentials in anesthesia and intensive care.

His years as a consultant in the NHS, coupled with his tenure in Saudi Arabia, have shaped him into a physician of distinction. Dr. Chadwick’s expertise isn’t just in his impressive titles as a member of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, but in how he applies this knowledge. He has a special interest in making surgeries smoother through Perioperative Medicine, taking care of children’s unique anesthesia needs, and tackling complex airway challenges.

Currently, Dr. Chadwick is the guiding force behind BASDART in the UK, leading advanced airway training and sharing his knowledge with future generations. At King’s College Hospital London in Jeddah, his approach to patient care is infused with the wisdom gathered from every corner of the globe, making him not just a doctor, but a true healthcare advocate for his patients.
