Professor Ezzeldin Ibrahim is a globally recognized medical oncologist and serves as the Chairman of the Department of Oncology at King’s College London in Jeddah. He has played a pivotal role in establishing oncology services at King Faisal University in Dammam and was the founding chair of the Oncology Department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital (KFSH) in Jeddah. During his tenure at KFSH, he also held positions as Chief Medical Officer and Executive Director of the Research Center. More recently, he founded the Oncology Center of Excellence at the International Medical Center (IMC) in Jeddah, where he also served as Chief Medical Officer and Executive Director of the IMC Academy.

Professor Ibrahim’s academic journey includes training in the UK and Canada, and significant contributions at institutions like Imam Abdulrahman Al Faisal University and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center as a senior oncologist and Professor of Medicine and Oncology. He has published over 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented more than 500 research studies at various local, regional, and international conferences.

His work has garnered over 7,000 citations from eminent authors worldwide. Professor Ibrahim has edited two books and authored ten chapters in internationally published books. He is a member of the editorial boards for several prestigious journals, including “Medical Oncology,” “International Journal of Health Geographics,” and “International Journal of Cancer and Clinical Research.” Additionally, he has served as a reviewer for top-tier journals like Lancet and the British Medical Journal.
